Her first major acting credit came in 2020 with the animated feature StarDog and TurboCat. Before stepping into the world of on-screen acting, Charli D’Amelio got her start in a totally different way — through voice acting! In 2020, she made her movie debut in the animated film StarDog and TurboCat, and fans were surprised (in a good way!) to hear her voice for one of the characters.
In this fun and family-friendly comedy, Charli voiced a cute little mouse in a story about an unlikely duo — a dog named Buddy and a cat named Felix. The two don’t exactly get along at first, but as the adventure unfolds, they team up to help Buddy find his owner and even discover their own inner superpowers along the way.

Looking ahead, Charli was set to star in a horror film titled Home School. With this role, she steps into a new genre and takes on a more intense and dramatic character, offering a glimpse into her growing range as an actress.
In an exclusive chat with E! News, Charli opened up about her love for acting, saying, “Acting has actually been a goal of mine for quite some time now. But I wanted to take the time to look at a lot of different genres, scripts, and roles.”
It turns out she’s a big fan of horror and thrillers, and when she read the script for Home School, she instantly felt a connection. “As soon as I read Home School, I knew it was for me,” she said.
In Home School, Charli plays Mira, a girl who moves to a new town after the death of her mother, only to discover that there’s a supernatural twist connecting her mom’s past to her own future.
Talking about her role, Charli shared, “I connected with the character Mira—the story, the script, and the team. I couldn’t believe it when I actually got the part. I know it will be challenging, but it will be fun for me to make and fun to watch.”

Not just limited to screens, Charli made her Broadway debut in October 2024 in the musical & Juliet. Playing Charmian in the ensemble, her appearance on stage proved she’s willing to challenge herself creatively and continue evolving as a performer.
